Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Payment Processing

All payments for 2dog are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles all billing, tax collection, and payment processing. Charges will appear on your statement as Paddle or paddle.net.

2. Subscription Terms

2dog subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your account reverts to the free tier (Friday only, limited messages) after the period ends
  • Your conversation history and dog profile data are preserved
  • No further charges will be made

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with 2dog. Our refund policy is as follows:

Within 7 days of first payment

If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment. No questions asked.

After 7 days

Refunds after the initial 7-day period are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may issue prorated refunds for documented service issues or billing errors. Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods or change of mind after the 7-day window.

How to request a refund

Contact us at hello@2dog.ai with your account email and reason for the refund request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.

5. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we (through Paddle) will attempt to process the payment again over the following days. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended and your account reverted to the free tier. You will be notified by email before any suspension occurs.

6. Price Changes

We may adjust subscription prices from time to time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies.

7. Free Tier

The free tier (7 messages with Friday) requires no payment and can be used without creating an account. The free tier may be modified or discontinued with notice.
