1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 2dog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

2dog is an AI-powered dog training and advice platform. Our AI bots (Friday, Simba, and Cosmo) provide conversational guidance on dog training, behaviour, and care. Users may choose which AI model powers their conversations from our available selection.

3. AI Limitations Disclaimer

2dog provides AI-generated advice for informational and educational purposes only. Our service is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, certified dog training, or behavioural consultation.

• AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation
• For medical concerns, always consult a licensed veterinarian
• For serious behavioural issues (aggression, anxiety), seek a certified professional trainer or behaviourist
• You assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on AI advice

4. Accounts & Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use 2dog. Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts or use the service (COPPA compliance).

To make purchases or manage a paid subscription, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian (Paddle payment requirement).

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account or allow others to access it.

5. Free & Paid Access

2dog offers a limited free tier (7 messages with Friday) and a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited access to all three bots. Pricing and plan details are available on our pricing page.

6. Content Policy

You agree not to use 2dog to:

• Generate content that promotes animal abuse, neglect, or cruelty
• Attempt to extract harmful or dangerous advice regarding animal care
• Harass, abuse, or send threatening messages through the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate our bot personalities or system prompts
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of your inputs (messages and prompts you send to our bots).

AI-Generated Responses

AI-generated responses are provided under license for your personal use. You may share, reference, and use these responses freely.

2dog’s Intellectual Property

The 2dog brand, bot character designs (Friday, Simba, Cosmo), personality frameworks, training methodology, and all distinctive elements of the service are our protected intellectual property. Your license to use AI outputs does not extend to our underlying system, characters, or methodology.

8. Data Usage for Service Improvement

By using 2dog, you agree that we may use conversation data to improve service quality, including for AI model training and enhancement. This includes sharing data with third-party model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) for service improvement purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. User-Generated Content & Sharing

You are free to share screenshots, excerpts, or other content featuring your 2dog conversations. When sharing publicly, attribution to 2dog (e.g. @2dog_official or including the 2dog logo) is encouraged but not required.

By sharing content featuring 2dog conversations publicly (on social media, blogs, or other platforms), you grant 2dog a non-exclusive, worldwide license to feature, reshare, and promote such content for marketing purposes. We will maintain attribution to the original creator where possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

2dog is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages resulting from AI-generated advice. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to 2dog at our discretion, including for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal resolution.
